About Jessica Pretty

A coach who knows what it is to begin again

Jessica Pretty is the woman behind Coach Jess Pretty: a coach, wife, mother and fine artist, as well as a competitive powerlifter and former amateur boxer.

Jess has lost more than 50 kg and spent years rebuilding through seasons that tested her deeply. She knows what it is to feel uncomfortable in your own skin, doubt yourself and then realise you are capable of more. That perspective helps her respect another person’s beginning without treating her own result as a blueprint.

Jess’s coaching background

Knowledge guides the plan. Experience adds context.

01

Level 3 Strength Coach

Jess applies strength-coaching knowledge to technique, programming and progression, from learning the fundamentals to preparing for competition.

02

Sports Nutrition Coach

Jess helps make fuelling, performance and recovery more practical. Sports-nutrition coaching is not dietetic or medical care.

03

Powerlifting and boxing experience

Her experience as a competitive powerlifter and former amateur boxer brings first-hand context to preparation, skill development and performing under pressure.

04

Mindset support informed by NLP

NLP-informed coaching can support clearer goals, habits and accountability. It is a coaching tool, not therapy or clinical mental-health treatment.

For everyday goals

Understand the work instead of chasing a shortcut

Jess can connect training, fuelling and mindset support, or concentrate on the area that matters now. For strength or body-composition goals, that may mean practical habits, steady accountability and decisions that fit ordinary routines—without fad diets or punishment.

For competition goals

Competition makes timing part of the plan

A powerlifting meet, endurance event or fight changes the detail. Technique, performance, fuelling and recovery need to reflect the demands ahead, with regular review and consistent practice carrying the work forward.
